Do I have to use it as a concentrate only?
Not necessarily. While our vegan ingredients and herbal oils are highly concentrated for optimal effects, dilution is recommended for efficient use. Mix the product with water at a 4:1 ratio. Even when used with a dispenser or foamer, it still produces a rich lather and maintains strong cleansing power.
Is it suitable for puppies and senior dogs?
Yes. As a 100% vegan and hypoallergenic formula, ALTHIRA is safe for puppies after 5 weeks of age (post-vaccination) and for senior dogs as well.
What is the shelf life of vegan and natural products?
Unopened, we recommend using within 36 months from the manufacturing date, stored in a cool, shaded place. After opening, although the plant-derived ingredients offer natural antibacterial and preservative properties, we advise using it sooner to preserve the herbal oil fragrance, which may dissipate into the air.
How often should I bathe my dog?
For small breeds around 3–4 kg with skin issues or frequent scratching, we suggest a bath every 3 weeks. Once the skin improves and scratching subsides, extend to a 4–6 week interval. After daily walks, use the undiluted shampoo to wash paws and maintain paw pad moisture.
Can I use it on dogs with skin conditions?
Yes, particularly the Bergamot & Atlas Cedarwood formula is recommended for dogs with sensitivities or stress-related behaviors. Designed for healing and purifying the dog's skin rhythm, it helps improve eczema, dryness, hair loss, and scratching. However, avoid using it on dogs recovering from surgery or with deep wounds. If your dog has a history of allergic reactions, please refer to the ingredient list and conduct a patch test on the paw or tail before full use.
Do I need to use a separate conditioner or rinse?
No. ALTHIRA contains highly concentrated ingredients that provide both skin hydration and coat nourishment, functioning as a shampoo, conditioner, and rinse in one. Developed based on academic research showing that prolonged bath routines involving multiple products can increase stress and aggression in dogs, our formula offers complete care in a single step.
